MARCO ASENSIO is prepared to leave Real Madrid if the La Liga side sign anyone that could stunt his progress, it has been claimed.

Marco Asensio could be on his way out of Real Madrid

Asensio, 21, emerged as one of the brightest prospects in Spain last year as he played limited time for Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid side.

He capped an encouraging campaign with a goal in the Champions League final that his side won 4-1 against Juventus.

Prior to that he'd tallied nine strikes in all competitions in the equivalent of 20 games' worth of minutes.

And he’s set for an increase in playing time if, as expected, James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata depart the Bernabeu ahead of next season.

Morata is set for Man Utd, while Rodriguez is liked by Inter Milan.

But reports in Diario Gol claim there’s a chance Asensio could call time on his own Los Blancos career.

They say the winger is keen to keep developing as he moves into his early twenties.

And apparently he’s even willing to leave the club should Zidane’s side sign a player who will cut into his playing time.

“Marco Asensio could move away from Real Madrid”

Diario Gol claim Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus have all enquired over Asensio and he could consider a move to another league should he be stuck on the bench at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Monaco ace Kylian Mbappe which might be troubling for Asensio.

But star striker Cristiano Ronaldo is believed to have handed in a transfer request recently, which could free up playing time in Real’s front line.
